أَخْبَرَنَاهُ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ، أَنْبَأَ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، ثَنَا تَمْتَامٌ، ثَنَا أَبُو حُذَيْفَةَ، ثَنَا سُفْيَانُ فَذَكَرَهُ بِإِسْنَادِهِ، إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ:
كُنَّا نُعْطِي عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ صَاعًا مِنْ طَعَامٍ، صَاعًا مِنْ تَمْرٍ، صَاعًا مِنْ شَعِيرٍ، صَاعًا مِنْ زَبِيبٍ، صَاعًا مِنْ أَقِطٍ، فَلَمَّا جَاءَ مُعَاوِيَةُ، وَجَاءَتِ السَّمْرَاءُ عَدَلَهُ النَّاسُ بِمُدَّيْنِ حِنْطَةً
