( أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، حَدَّثَنِي عَلِيُّ بْنُ عِيسَى الْحِيرِيُّ، ثَنَا مُسَدَّدُ بْنُ قَطَنٍ، ثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، عَنْ عُمَرَ ؓ قَالَ:

نِعْمَ الْعِدْلَانِ وَنِعْمَ الْعِلَاوَةُ الَّذِينَ إِذَا أَصَابَتْهُمْ مُصِيبَةٌ قَالُوا إِنَّا لِلهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ أُولَئِكَ عَلَيْهِمْ صَلَوَاتٌ مِنْ رَبِّهِمْ وَرَحْمَةٌ نِعْمَ الْعِدْلَانِ وَأُولَئِكَ هُمُ الْمُهْتَدُونَ نِعْمَ الْعِلَاوَةُ
