وَأَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْقَاضِي، ثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثَنَا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، أَنْبَأَ الشَّافِعِيُّ، أَنْبَأَ مُطَرِّفُ بْنُ مَازِنٍ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو أُمَامَةَ بْنُ سَهْلٍ: أَنَّهُ أَخْبَرَهُ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ:
أَنَّ السُّنَّةَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ عَلَى الْجِنَازَةِ أَنْ يُكَبِّرَ الْإِمَامُ، ثُمَّ يَقْرَأَ بِفَاتِحَةِ الْكِتَابِ بَعْدَ التَّكْبِيرَةِ الْأُولَى سِرًّا فِي نَفْسِهِ، ثُمَّ يُصَلِّي عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَيُخْلِصُ الدُّعَاءَ لِلْجِنَازَةِ فِي التَّكْبِيرَاتِ لَا يَقْرَأَ فِي شَيْءٍ مِنْهُنَّ، ثُمَّ يُسَلِّمُ سِرًّا فِي نَفْسِهِ

يرويه الليث بن سعد عن الزهري عن أبي أمامة بن سهل وتابعه قرة بن عبد الرحمن عن الزهري وقال عقيل عن الزهري عن أبي أمامة عن رجل لم يسمه عن آخر من أصحاب رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ورواه معمر واختلف عنه فرواه عبد الأعلى بن عبد الأعلى وعبد الرزاق عن معمر عن الزهري عن أبي أمامة بن سهل وخالفهما عبد الواحد بن زياد فرواه عن معمر عن الزهري عن سهل بن سعد ووهم فيه والصواب قول من رواه عن الزهري عن أبي أمامة بن سهل
machine translationAl-Layth b. Saʿd narrates it from al-Zuhrī, from Abū Umāmah b. Sahl, and Qurrah b. ʿAbd al-Raḥmān followed him in narrating it from al-Zuhrī. ʿUqayl said, from al-Zuhrī, from Abū Umāmah, from a man whom he did not name, from another of the Companions of the Messenger of God ﷺ. Maʿmar also narrated it, and there is disagreement about him: ʿAbd al-Aʿlā b. ʿAbd al-Aʿlā and ʿAbd al-Razzāq narrated it from Maʿmar, from al-Zuhrī, from Abū Umāmah b. Sahl. ʿAbd al-Wāḥid b. Ziyād differed from them and narrated it from Maʿmar, from al-Zuhrī, from Sahl b. Saʿd, and he erred in that. The correct version is the saying of those who narrated it from al-Zuhrī, from Abū Umāmah b. Sahl.
