✧ Those Who Prayed the Eclipse Prayer as Two Rak'ahs

) أَبُو الْحَسَنِ الْمُقْرِي، أَنْبَأَ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، ثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، ثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ:

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ خَرَجَ مُسْتَعْجِلًا يَجُرُّ رِدَاءَهُ حَتَّى أَتَى الْمَسْجِدَ، وَقَدِ انْكَسَفَتِ الشَّمْسُ، فَصَلَّى حَتَّى انْجَلَتْ، وَقَالَ: إِنَّ أَهْلَ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ يَقُولُونَ: إِنَّ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ لَا يَنْخَسِفَانِ إِلَّا لِمَوْتِ عَظِيمٍ مِنْ عُظَمَاءِ الْأَرْضِ، وَإِنَّ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ لَا يَنْخَسِفَانِ لِمَوْتِ أَحَدٍ، وَلَكِنَّهُمَا خَلْقَانِ مِنْ خَلْقِ اللهِ - عَزَّ وَجَلَّ - وَيُحْدِثُ اللهُ فِي خَلْقِهِ مَا يَشَاءُ. فَأَيُّهُمَا انْخَسَفَ، فَصَلُّوا حَتَّى يَنْجَلِيَ أَوْ يُحْدِثَ اللهُ - عَزَّ وَجَلَّ - أَمْرًا
