( فَأَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ الْمُزَكِّي وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْقَاضِي قَالَا: ثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثَنَا بَحْرُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ قَالَ: قُرِئَ عَلَى ابْنِ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَكَ ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ وَاللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ أَخْبَرَهُ:

أَنَّ مُعَاذَ بْنَ جَبَلٍ صَلَّى الْعِشَاءَ فَطَوَّلَ عَلَى أَصْحَابِهِ. فَأُخْبِرَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ بِذَلِكَ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ لِمُعَاذٍ: أَفَتَّانٌ أَنْتَ يَا مُعَاذُ. خَفِّفْ عَلَى النَّاسِ وَاقْرَأْ بِالشَّمْسِ وَضُحَاهَا، وَ سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى وَنَحْوِ ذَلِكَ وَلَا تَشُقَّ عَلَى النَّاسِ
