machine translationThe correct report is from ʿAbdullāh b. Rabāḥ, from the Prophet ﷺ, as a mursal report; al-Sālḥīnī made a mistake in it.

machine translationHe was asked: "Which is correct in your view, Bilāl or ʿAmmār?" Abū Zurʿah said: "The people of Medina narrated it as being Bilāl, and they are more knowledgeable. Even though their narration is mursal, had they not heard it from the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ, they would not have said it."
