I asked ʿĀʾishah (may God be pleased with her) about a menstruating woman whose garment is stained with blood. She said: "She should wash it, and if its trace does not go away, let her change it with something yellow (ṣufrah)." And she said: "I used to menstruate in the time of the Messenger of God ﷺ for three menstrual periods together, and I would not wash a garment of mine."
