( وَأَمَّا الْأَثَرُ الَّذِي ) أَخْبَرَنَاهُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُوسَى بْنِ الْفَضْلِ ( قَالَا ): أَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، أَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ، أَنَا حُمَيْدٌ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ أَنَسٍ قَالَ:
خَطَبَ الْحَجَّاجُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ النَّاسَ، فَقَالَ: اغْسِلُوا وُجُوهَكُمْ وَأَيْدِيَكُمْ وَأَرْجُلَكُمْ، فَاغْسِلُوا ظَاهِرَهُمَا وَبَاطِنَهُمَا وَعَرَاقِيبَهُمَا، فَإِنَّ ذَلِكَ أَقْرَبُ إِلَى جَنَّتِكُمْ
