( فَأَخْبَرَنَاهُ ) أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ دُحَيْمٍ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ بِالْكُوفَةِ، ثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَازِمِ بْنِ أَبِي غَرَزَةَ الْغِفَارِيُّ، ثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ، وَيَعْلَى بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، وَأَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، عَنْ مِسْعَرٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ ابْنِ الْقِبْطِيَّةِ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، قَالَ:

كُنَّا إِذَا صَلَّيْنَا خَلْفَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قُلْنَا - يَعْنِي الْإِشَارَةَ بِإِصْبَعِهِ السَّبَّابَةِ -: السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمُ، السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ، فَقَالَ لَنَا - يَعْنِي النَّبِيَّ ﷺ: مَا بَالُ أَقْوَامٍ يَرْمُونَ بِأَيْدِيهِمْ فِي الصَّلَاةِ كَأَنَّهَا أَذْنَابُ الْخَيْلِ الشُّمْسِ ؟ أَمَا يَكْفِي أَحَدَهُمْ، أَوْ أَحَدَكُمْ، أَنْ يَضَعَ يَدَهُ عَلَى فَخِذِهِ، ثُمَّ يُسَلِّمَ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ شِمَالِهِ
