وَأَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو سَعِيدٍ يَحْيَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى الْخَطِيبُ الْإِسْفَرَائِنِيُّ، ثَنَا أَبُو بَحْرٍ الْبَرْبَهَارِيُّ، ثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى، ثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ، ثَنَا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنْ مَنْصُورِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ الْأَسَدِيِّ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَمْرَو بْنَ مَيْمُونٍ الْأَوْدِيَّ يَقُولُ:

صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ صَلَاةَ الْفَجْرِ، وَلَوْ أَنَّ ابْنِي مِنِّي ثَلَاثَةَ أَذْرُعٍ لَمْ أَعْرِفْهُ إِلَّا أَنْ يَتَكَلَّمَ

Numayr: he died in 74 AH. ʿAmr b. ʿAlī said, and Abū Bakr b. Abī Shaybah, and Abū ʿUbayd: died in the year 75 AH. Khalīfah b. Khayyāṭ said: he died in 76 AH, also said: the year 74 AH. And he said elsewhere: the year 76 AH or 77 AH
