( أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ الْمُزَكِّي، وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْقَاضِي، قَالَا: ثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، أَنْبَأَ الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، أَنْبَأَ الشَّافِعِيُّ، أَنْبَأَ أَنَسُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ حَاطِبٍ:

أَنَّ رَجُلَيْنِ تَدَاعَيَا وَلَدًا فَدَعَا لَهُ عُمَرُ ؓ الْقَافَةَ فَقَالُوا لَقَدِ اشْتَرَكَا فِيهِ فَقَالَ لَهُ عُمَرُ ؓ: وَالِ أَيَّهُمَا شِئْتَ
