أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْقَطَّانُ بِبَغْدَادَ، أَنْبَأَ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّفَّارُ، ثَنَا مُشْرِفُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، ثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، ثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ حُسَيْنٍ قَالَ:
قُلْتُ لِإِيَاسِ بْنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ: مَا الْمُرُوءَةُ ؟ قَالَ: أَمَّا فِي بَلَدِكَ وَحَيْثُ تُعْرَفُ التَّقْوَى، وَأَمَّا حَيْثُ لَا تُعْرَفُ فَاللِّبَاسُ
