( أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْقَطَّانُ بِبَغْدَادَ، أَنْبَأَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ دَرَسْتَوَيْهِ، ثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ، حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي زَكَرِيَّا، ثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ، قَالَ:

كَانَ سَعِيدُ بْنُ الْمُسَيِّبِ رَجُلًا يَصُومُ، فَدَخَلَ عَلَيْهِ رَجُلٌ وَهُوَ يَأْكُلُ خُبْزًا وَسِلْقًا، فَقَالَ لَهُ: تَعَالَ فَكُلْ. قَالَ: فَسَأَلَهُ الرَّجُلُ عَنْ شَيْءٍ. قَالَ: مَا لَكَ ظَنَنْتَ أَنَّهُ مِنْ أَمْرِ الْقَضَاءِ ؟ فَقَالَ لَهُ سَعِيدٌ: أَرَاكَ أَحْمَقَ، اذْهَبْ إِلَى الْقَاضِي الَّذِي أُجْلِسَ لِهَذَا، أَتُرَانِي أَنِّي كُنْتُ أَشْغَلُ نَفْسِي بِهَذَا، أَوْ قَالَ بِكَ ؟
