machine translationHe was asked about the hadith of ʿAlqamah, from ʿAbdullāh, from the Prophet ﷺ, and he said: It was said thus from Muṣʿab b. Māhān, from Sufyān, from Manṣūr, and from Ibn Abī ʿAdī, from Shuʿbah, from Manṣūr, from Ibrāhīm, from ʿAlqamah, from ʿAbdullāh. But it is not sound (ṣaḥīḥ); the correct version is from Ibrāhīm, from ʿUbaydah, from ʿAbdullāh.
