( أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو الطَّيِّبِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْعَبْدُ الصَّالِحُ، ثَنَا سَهْلُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ الْعَتَكِيُّ، ثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنِ الْعُمَرِيِّ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ - ؓ:
أَنَّ الْخَيْلَ كَانَتْ تُجْرَى مِنْ سِتَّةِ أَمْيَالٍ فَتُسَبَّقُ، فَأَعْطَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ السَّابِقَ
