وَأَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ، قَالَا: ثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثَنَا بَحْرُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، ثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو أُمَامَةَ بْنُ سَهْلِ بْنِ حُنَيْفٍ، فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَى هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ، إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ:

فَدَعَا عَامِرَ بْنَ رَبِيعَةَ فَتَغَيَّظَ عَلَيْهِ وَقَالَ لَهُ: عَلَى مَا يَقْتُلُ أَحَدُكُمْ أَخَاهُ، أَلَا تُبَرِّكُ، اغْتَسِلْ لَهُ ". فَاغْتَسَلَ لَهُ عَامِرٌ، فَرَاحَ سَهْلٌ مَعَ الرَّكْبِ
