( وَأَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ بِشْرَانَ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو عَمْرِو بْنُ السَّمَّاكِ، ثَنَا حَنْبَلُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، ثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ الْقَاضِي، ثَنَا طَلْحَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، عَنْ يُونُسَ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ أَبِي خُزَامَةَ زَيْدِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَذَا قَالَ، وَالْأَوَّلُ أَصَحُّ، وَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ. ( قَالَ الشَّيْخُ ): وَرُوِيَ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ وَعَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي خُزَامَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، وَالْأَوَّلُ أَصَحُّ

رواه أبو أحمد الزبيري عن الثوري عن معمر عن الزهري عن عمر بن الخطاب قلت يا رسول الله ووهم في ذكر عمر وإنما روى هذا الحديث الزهري عن أبي خزامة بن يعمر عن أبيه عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وهو الصواب
machine translationAbū Aḥmad al-Zubayrī narrated it from al-Thawrī, from Maʿmar, from al-Zuhrī, from ʿUmar b. al-Khaṭṭāb: "I said, O Messenger of God..." But he was mistaken in mentioning ʿUmar. Rather, al-Zuhrī only narrated this hadith from Abū Khizāmah b. Yaʿmur, from his father, from the Prophet ﷺ, and that is the correct version.
