( وَأَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ بِالْكُوفَةِ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ بُرْدٍ الْأَنْطَاكِيُّ، ثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْحُنَيْنِيُّ قَالَ: ذَكَرَهُ هِشَامُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ؓ قَالَ:
جَاءَ جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ يَوْمَ الْأَضْحَى فَقَالَ: " كَيْفَ رَأَيْتَ نُسُكَنَا هَذَا ؟. قَالَ: لَقَدْ بَاهَى بِهِ أَهْلُ السَّمَاءِ، وَاعْلَمْ يَا مُحَمَّدُ أَنَّ الْجَذَعَ مِنَ الضَّأْنِ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الثَّنِيَّةِ مِنَ الْإِبِلِ وَالْبَقَرِ، وَلَوْ عَلِمَ اللهُ ذِبْحًا أَفْضَلَ مِنْهُ لَفَدَى بِهِ إِبْرَاهِيمُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ
