in سنن البيهقي الكبرى, p. 19065 - M. ibn Ḥibbān al-Bustī
machine translationHe declared it defective because of ʿAbd al-Raḥmān and said that he used to invert reports without knowing it, until this became frequent in his narration, through raising statements that stop at a Companion (mawqūfāt) and connecting mursal reports, so he deserved to be abandoned.
machine translationʿAbdullāh is trustworthy (thiqah), while his two brothers ʿAbd al-Raḥmān and Usāmah are weak (ḍaʿīf). Ibn ʿAdī said: This ḥadīth revolves around these three brothers. He transmitted with a chain that Ibn Maʿīn said: All three of them are weak; their ḥadīth is worth nothing. And he transmitted from al-Saʿdī that he said: They are weak, without any corruption in their religion.
in سنن البيهقي الكبرى, p. 19065 - Ibn Ṣalāḥ
machine translationThis ḥadīth is weak (ḍaʿīf) according to the people of ḥadīth, although it is coherent.

machine translationHe declared ʿAbd al-Raḥmān b. Zayd b. Aslam weak (ḍaʿīf) and said: He narrated a rejected ḥadīth (munkar), and it is this one.
machine translationAl-Miswar b. al-Ṣalt narrates it from Zayd b. Aslam, from ʿAṭāʾ b. Yasār, from Abū Saʿīd. ʿAbd al-Raḥmān b. Zayd b. Aslam contradicted him and narrated it from his father, from Ibn ʿUmar, from the Prophet ﷺ. Others narrate it from Zayd b. Aslam, from Ibn ʿUmar as his own statement (mawqūf), and that is the correct one.

machine translationThe sons of Zayd b. Aslam and others raise this ḥadīth to the Prophet. Yaḥyā b. Ḥassān raised it from Sulaymān b. Bilāl. Sufyān b. ʿUyaynah narrated this ḥadīth from ʿAbd al-Raḥmān b. Zayd b. Aslam. Ibn Wahb narrated it from Sulaymān b. Bilāl, from Zayd b. Aslam, from ʿUmar, and did not mention the Prophet ﷺ in it. As for the sons of Zayd b. Aslam, although the view concerning them is that they are weak (ḍuʿafāʾ), their ḥadīth is nonetheless written down.
