We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ at Dhū al-Ḥulayfah in Tihāmah, and the people had become hungry, so they got some camels and sheep. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to them (and the cooking pots had been set up), so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered the pots, and they were overturned. Then he divided the spoils among them, and he equated ten sheep with one camel. He said: A camel from the people's camels ran away, and there were only a few horses among the people. A man shot it with an arrow and stopped it. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Indeed, some of these camels have wildness like the wildness of wild animals, so whatever of them overpowers you, do this with it."
