machine translationThis is from the hadith of al-Thawrī from Qābūs. I do not know of anyone who narrated it other than ʿAlī b. Qādim.
in سنن البيهقي الكبرى, p. 18820 - Ibn al-Qaṭṭān
machine translationQābūs is weak (ḍaʿīf) according to them, and some of them may have abandoned his hadith. He had slandered a man and was given the prescribed punishment (ḥadd), so he was abandoned for that reason.
in سنن البيهقي الكبرى, p. 18820 - Ibn al-Qaṭṭān
machine translationHe found the hadith of the Sunan to be defective because of Qābūs, saying: Qābūs is weak (ḍaʿīf) according to them, and some of them may have abandoned his hadith. He had slandered a man and was given the prescribed punishment (ḥadd), so he was abandoned for that reason.
in سنن البيهقي الكبرى, p. 18820 - Abū Ḥatim al-Rāzī
machine translationZuhayr narrated it from Qābūs, from his father, that the Prophet ﷺ went out, as a mursal report. My father said: This is from Qābūs; Qābūs was not strong, so it is possible that he said it this way once and that way another time.
