( أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، وَأَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو، قَالَا: ثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ هُوَ الْأَصَمُّ، ثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْعَسْقَلَانِيُّ، ثَنَا آدَمُ، ثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ - ؓ:
وَلا تُلْقُوا بِأَيْدِيكُمْ إِلَى التَّهْلُكَةِ، قَالَ: يَقُولُ إِذَا أَذْنَبَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلَا يُلْقِيَنَّ بِيَدِهِ إِلَى التَّهْلُكَةِ، وَلَا يَقُولَنَّ لَا تَوْبَةَ لِي؛ وَلَكِنْ لِيَسْتَغْفِرِ اللهَ وَلْيَتُبْ إِلَيْهِ؛ فَإِنَّ اللهَ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ
