( وَأَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، وَأَبُو سَعِيدٍ، قَالَا: ثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ، ثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ، ثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، قَالَ:
قَالَ رَجُلٌ لِلْبَرَاءِ - ؓ: أَحْمِلُ عَلَى الْكَتِيبَةِ بِالسَّيْفِ فِي أَلْفٍ، مِنَ التَّهْلُكَةِ ذَاكَ ؟ قَالَ: لَا. إِنَّمَا التَّهْلُكَةُ أَنْ يُذْنِبَ الرَّجُلُ الذَّنْبَ ثُمَّ يُلْقِي بِيَدَيْهِ ثُمَّ يَقُولُ: لَا يُغْفَرُ لِي
