( أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بِشْرَانَ الْعَدْلُ بِبَغْدَادَ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ: مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الرَّزَّازُ، ثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مَنْصُورٍ، ثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، ثَنَا أَبِي، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمَلِيحِ:
أَنَّ عُبَيْدَ اللهِ بْنَ زِيَادٍ عَادَ مَعْقِلَ بْنَ يَسَارٍ ؓ فِي مَرَضِهِ، فَقَالَ لَهُ مَعْقِلٌ - ؓ: إِنِّي مُحَدِّثُكَ بِحَدِيثٍ لَوْلَا أَنِّي فِي الْمَوْتِ لَمْ أُحَدِّثْكَ بِهِ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ: مَا مِنْ أَمِيرٍ يَلِي أَمْرَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ، ثُمَّ لَا يَجْهَدُ لَهُمْ وَلَا يَنْصَحُ إِلَّا لَمْ يَدْخُلْ مَعَهُمُ الْجَنَّةَ
