✧ The Muslim Avoids Killing His Father in War, and Even If He Kills Him, There Is No Blame on Him

( أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْقَطَّانُ، أَنْبَأَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، ثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ، ثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ، ثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ سُمَيْعٍ الْحَنَفِيِّ، عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، وَكَانَ قَدْ أَدْرَكَ الْجَاهِلِيَّةَ، قَالَ:

جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ: إِنِّي لَقِيتُ الْعَدُوَّ وَلَقِيتُ أَبِي فِيهِمْ، فَسَمِعْتُ لَكَ مِنْهُ مَقَالَةً قَبِيحَةً، فَلَمْ أَصْبِرْ حَتَّى طَعَنْتُهُ بِالرُّمْحِ، أَوْ حَتَّى قَتَلْتُهُ، فَسَكَتَ عَنْهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ ثُمَّ جَاءَ آخَرُ، فَقَالَ: إِنِّي لَقِيتُ أَبِي، فَتَرَكْتُهُ وَأَحْبَبْتُ أَنْ يَلِيَهُ غَيْرِي، فَسَكَتَ عَنْهُ
