( أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو حَازِمٍ الْحَافِظُ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو الْفَضْلِ بْنُ خَمِيرَوَيْهِ، أَنْبَأَ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ نَجْدَةَ، ثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، ثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، أَنْبَأَ مُغِيرَةُ قَالَ:
كَتَبَ عُمَرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ أَنْ لَا يُبْلَغَ فِي التَّعْزِيرِ أَدْنَى الْحُدُودِ أَرْبَعِينَ سَوْطًا
