وَأَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو عَمْرٍو الْحِيرِيُّ، أَنْبَأَ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ، ثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - ﷺ
كَانَ يَضْرِبُ فِي الْخَمْرِ بِالنِّعَالِ، وَالْجَرِيدِ أَرْبَعِينَ، وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ ؓ ضَرَبَ أَرْبَعِينَ، فَلَمَّا وَلِيَ عُمَرُ ؓ سُئِلَ عَنْ ذَلِكَ فَشَاوَرَهُمْ عُمَرُ؛ فَقَالَ ابْنُ عَوْفٍ ؓ: أَرَى أَنْ تَضْرِبَهُ ثَمَانِينَ. فَضَرَبَهُ ثَمَانِينَ
