أَخْبَرَنَاهُ أَبُو نَصْرِ بْنُ قَتَادَةَ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو عَمْرِو بْنُ مَطَرٍ، وَأَبُو الْحَسَنِ السَّرَّاجُ قَالَا: ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ، ثَنَا عَاصِمُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، ثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو جَمْرَةَ قَالَ:
كَانَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ يُقْعِدُنِي عَلَى سَرِيرِهِ. فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ قَالَ: قُلْتُ: فَإِنَّ عَبْدَ الْقَيْسِ تَنْتَبِذُ فِي مَزَادٍ لَهَا نَبِيذًا شَدِيدًا. قَالَ: فَإِذَا خَشِيتَ شِدَّتَهُ فَاكْسِرْهُ بِالْمَاءِ
