( وَأَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو سَعِيدِ ابْنُ الْأَعْرَابِيِّ، ثَنَا سَعْدَانُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، ثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ جَعْدَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ عُثْمَانُ ؓ:

إِيَّاكُمْ وَالْخَمْرَ؛ فَإِنَّهَا مِفْتَاحُ كُلِّ شَرٍّ، أُتِيَ رَجُلٌ فَقِيلَ لَهُ: إِمَّا أَنْ تُخَرِّقَ هَذَا الْكِتَابَ، وَإِمَّا أَنْ تَقْتُلَ هَذَا الصَّبِيَّ، وَإِمَّا أَنْ تَقَعَ عَلَى هَذِهِ الْمَرْأَةِ، وَإِمَّا أَنْ تَشْرَبَ هَذَا الْكَأْسَ، وَإِمَّا أَنْ تَسْجُدَ لِلصَّلِيبِ، فَلَمْ يَرَ فِيهَا شَيْئًا أَهْوَنَ مِنْ شُرْبِ الْكَأْسِ، فَلَمَّا شَرِبَهَا سَجَدَ لِلصَّلِيبِ، وَقَتَلَ النَّفْسَ، وَوَقَعَ عَلَى الْمَرْأَةِ، وَخَرَّقَ الْكِتَابَ
