وَقَدْ أَجَابَ عَنْهُ الشَّافِعِيُّ بِمَا أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، ثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، أَنْبَأَ الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ: قَالَ الشَّافِعِيُّ ؓ:
قُلْتُ لِبَعْضِ النَّاسِ: هَذِهِ سُنَّةُ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ يَقْطَعَ فِي رُبُعِ دِينَارٍ فَصَاعِدًا، فَكَيْفَ قُلْتَ لَا تُقْطَعُ الْيَدُ إِلَّا فِي عَشْرَةِ دَرَاهِمَ فَصَاعِدًا، وَمَا حُجَّتُكَ فِي ذَلِكَ ؟ قَالَ: قَدْ رُوِّينَا عَنْ شَرِيكٍ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنْ أَيْمَنَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ شَبِيهًا بِقَوْلِنَا
