"Five prayers Allah, Mighty and Majestic, has prescribed for His servants. Whoever comes with them and does not neglect them, he has a covenant with Allah that He will forgive him and admit him into Paradise. And whoever does not come with them, out of disregard for their right, has no covenant with Allah; if He wills, He punishes him, and if He wills, He forgives him."

machine translationAmong what we have narrated on this subject from the hadiths of Yaḥyā and ʿAbd Rabbih, the two sons of Saʿīd, and Muḥammad b. Isḥāq, from Muḥammad b. Yaḥyā b. Ḥabbān, this hadith goes back to Ibn Muḥayrīz, from al-Mukhdajī, from ʿUbādah. ʿUqayl b. Khālid and Muḥammad b. ʿAjlān differed from them in this: they narrated it from Muḥammad b. Yaḥyā b. Ḥabbān, from Ibn Muḥayrīz, from ʿUbādah, without either of them inserting al-Mukhdajī between Ibn Muḥayrīz and ʿUbādah.
