( أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو الْحَسَنِ: عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ، أَنْبَأَ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، ثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مِلْحَانَ، أَنْبَأَ يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ عُقَيْلٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ: أَنَّ أَبَا وَاقِدٍ اللَّيْثِيَّ وَكَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَخْبَرَهُ:

أَنَّهُ بَيْنَا هُوَ عِنْدَ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ بِالْجَابِيَةِ جَاءَهُ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ: يَا أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ، إِنَّ امْرَأَتِي زَنَتْ بِعَبْدِي مُعْتَرِفَةً بِذَلِكَ. قَالَ أَبُو وَاقِدٍ: فَدَعَانِي عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ عَاشِرَ عَشَرَةِ رَهْطٍ، فَأَرْسَلَنَا إِلَى امْرَأَتِهِ، وَأَمَرَنَا أَنْ نَسْأَلَهَا عَمَّا قَالَ؛ فَجِئْنَاهَا فَإِذَا هِيَ جَارِيَةٌ حَدِيثَةُ السِّنِّ، فَقُلْتُ حِينَ رَأَيْتُهَا تَكْفِتَهَا عَمَّا شِئْتَ الْيَوْمَ، ثُمَّ كَلَّمْتُهَا فَقُلْتُ: إِنَّ زَوْجَكِ أَتَى أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ فَأَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّكِ زَنَيْتِ بِعَبْدِهِ؛ فَأَرْسَلَنَا إِلَيْكِ لِنَشْهَدَ عَلَى مَا تَقُولِينَ قَالَتْ: صَدَقَ. فَأَمَرَنَا عُمَرُ ؓ فَرَجَمْنَاهَا بِالْحِجَارَةِ
