أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو نَصْرِ بْنُ قَتَادَةَ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو الْفَضْلِ بْنُ خَمِيرَوَيْهِ، أَنْبَأَ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ نَجْدَةَ، ثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ، ثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ:

كَتَبَ إِلَيْهِ سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ يَسْأَلُهُ عَنِ امْرَأَةٍ فَارَقَتْ زَوْجَهَا، وَشَهِدَتْ عَلَى قَوْمِهَا بِالشِّرْكِ، وَلَحِقَتْ بِالْحَرُورِيَّةِ فَتَزَوَّجَتْ فِيهِمْ، ثُمَّ جَاءَتْ تَائِبَةً. قَالَ: فَكَتَبَ إِلَيْهِ الزُّهْرِيُّ وَأَنَا شَاهِدٌ: أَمَّا بَعْدُ، فَإِنَّ الْفِتْنَةَ الْأُولَى ثَارَتْ وَفِي أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ مِمَّنْ شَهِدَ بَدْرًا فَرَأَوْا أَنْ يُهْدَمَ أَمْرُ الْفِتْنَةِ لَا يُقَامُ فِيهَا حَدٌّ عَلَى أَحَدٍ فِي فَرْجٍ اسْتَحَلَّهُ بِتَأْوِيلِ الْقُرْآنِ، وَلَا قِصَاصٌ فِي دَمٍ اسْتَحَلَّهُ بِتَأْوِيلِ الْقُرْآنِ، وَلَا مَالٍ اسْتَحَلَّهُ بِتَأْوِيلِ الْقُرْآنِ، إِلَّا أَنْ يُوجَدَ شَيْءٌ بِعَيْنِهِ، وَإِنِّي أَرَى أَنْ تَرُدَّهَا إِلَى زَوْجِهَا، وَتَحُدَّ مَنْ قَذَفَهَا
