وَأَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو، ثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ الْأَصَمُّ، ثَنَا بَحْرُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، حَدَّثَنِي جَرِيرُ بْنُ حَازِمٍ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ:

أَنَّ رَجُلًا قَتَلَ امْرَأَتَهُ، اسْتَعْدَى ثَلَاثَةُ إِخْوَةٍ لَهَا عَلَيْهِ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ فَعَفَا أَحَدُهُمْ، فَقَالَ عُمَرُ ؓ لِلْبَاقِيَيْنِ: خُذَا ثُلُثَىِ الدِّيَةِ فَإِنَّهُ لَا سَبِيلَ إِلَى قَتْلِهِ
