( أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ السُّلَمِيُّ، أَنْبَأَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْحَافِظُ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ، ثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبْدُوسٍ، ثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثَنَا عَبَّادُ بْنُ الْعَوَّامِ، عَنْ حَجَّاجٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ:
أَنَّ أَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ ؓ كَانَا لَا يَقْتُلَانِ الْحُرَّ يَقْتُلُ الْعَبْدَ
