We used to sell cloth in the house of Suwayd b. Muqarrin ؓ. A slave girl of his came out and said something to a man, and that man slapped her. Suwayd b. Muqarrin ؓ said to him: "Did you slap her face? I have seen myself as the seventh of seven, and we had no one but one servant, and one of us slapped her, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered him to free her."
