أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ بِشْرَانَ بِبَغْدَادَ، أَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّفَّارُ، نَا سَعْدَانُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، نَا مَعْمَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الرَّقِّيُّ، نَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ بِشْرٍ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ السَّخْتِيَانِيِّ:

أَنَّ مُكَاتَبًا كَانَتْ تَحْتَهُ حُرَّةٌ فَطَلَّقَهَا تَطْلِيقَتَيْنِ فَأَتَى عُثْمَانَ بْنَ عَفَّانَ وَزَيْدَ بْنَ ثَابِتٍ ؓ فَسَأَلَهُمَا عَنْ ذَلِكَ فَابْتَدَرَ كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمَا وَقَالَ لَهُ: حَرُمَتْ عَلَيْكَ وَالطَّلَاقُ بِالرِّجَالِ
