A man came to the Prophet ﷺ complaining that his master had married him off and now wanted to separate him from his wife. So he praised God and extolled Him, then said: "What is the matter with people who marry their male slaves to their female slaves and then want to separate them? Indeed, divorce belongs only to the one who takes hold of the leg."
