( أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو، نَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ الْأَصَمُّ، أَنَا الرَّبِيعُ، أَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ، أَنَا مَالِكٌ:
أَنَّهُ بَلَغَهُ أَنَّهُ كُتِبَ إِلَى عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ مِنَ الْعِرَاقِ أَنَّ رَجُلًا قَالَ لِامْرَأَتِهِ: حَبْلُكِ عَلَى غَارِبِكِ فَكَتَبَ عُمَرُ ؓ إِلَى عَامِلِهِ: أَنْ مُرْهُ أَنْ يُوَافِيَنِي فِي الْمَوْسِمِ فَبَيْنَمَا عُمَرُ ؓ يَطُوفُ بِالْبَيْتِ إِذْ لَقِيَهُ الرَّجُلُ فَسَلَّمَ عَلَيْهِ فَقَالَ: مَنْ أَنْتَ ؟ قَالَ: أَنَا الَّذِي أَمَرْتَ أَنْ يُجْلَبَ عَلَيْكَ فَقَالَ: أَنْشُدُكَ بِرَبِّ هَذِهِ الْبَنِيَّةِ هَلْ أَرَدْتَ بِقَوْلِكَ حَبْلُكِ عَلَى غَارِبِكِ الطَّلَاقَ ؟ فَقَالَ الرَّجُلُ: لَوِ اسْتَحْلَفْتَنِي فِي غَيْرِ هَذَا الْمَكَانِ مَا صَدَقْتُكَ، أَرَدْتُ الْفِرَاقَ، فَقَالَ عُمَرُ ؓ: هُوَ مَا أَرَدْتَ
