Ibn ʿAbbās was asked about a man who divorced his wife a hundred times. He said: "You disobeyed your Lord, and your wife has been separated from you. You did not fear Allah so that He might make a way out for you, and whoever fears Allah, He makes a way out for him. (O Prophet, when you divorce women, divorce them at the beginning of their waiting period.)"
