أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو طَاهِرٍ الْفَقِيهُ، وَأَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو، قَالَا: ثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ: مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، ثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ مِغْوَلٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا بَكْرِ بْنَ حَفْصٍ، قَالَ:
كَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ إِذَا دُعِيَ إِلَى تَزْوِيجٍ قَالَ: لَا تُفَضِّضُوا عَلَيْنَا النَّاسَ، الْحَمْدُ لِلهِ، وَصَلَّى اللهُ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ، إِنَّ فُلَانًا خَطَبَ إِلَيْكُمْ فُلَانَةَ، إِنْ أَنْكَحْتُمُوهُ فَالْحَمْدُ لِلهِ، وَإِنْ رَدَدْتُمُوهُ فَسُبْحَانَ اللهِ
