وَأَمَّا الَّذِي أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو نَصْرِ بْنُ قَتَادَةَ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو مَنْصُورٍ النَّضْرَوِيُّ، ثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ نَجْدَةَ، ثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، ثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، ثَنَا الْعَوَّامُ بْنُ حَوْشَبٍ، أَنْبَأَ الْعَلَاءُ بْنُ بَدْرٍ:
أَنَّ رَجُلًا تَزَوَّجَ امْرَأَةً فَأَصَابَ فَاحِشَةً وَضُرِبَ الْحَدَّ، ثُمَّ جِيءَ بِهِ إِلَى عَلِيٍّ ؓ فَفَرَّقَ عَلِيٌّ ؓ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ امْرَأَتِهِ، ثُمَّ قَالَ لِلرَّجُلِ: لَا تَتَزَوَّجْ إِلَّا مَجْلُودَةً مِثْلَكَ
