( وَأَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ بَالَوَيْهِ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ غَالِبٍ، ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ، ثَنَا أَبِي، ثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي الْوَرْقَاءِ، سَمِعَ رَجُلًا مِنْ قَوْمِهِ يُقَالُ لَهُ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ كَعْبٍ يَقُولُ:

رَأَيْتُ عَلِيًّا بَالَ ثُمَّ مَسَحَ عَلَى الْجَوْرَبَيْنِ وَالنَّعْلَيْنِ
