أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ السُّكَّرِيُّ بِبَغْدَادَ، أَنْبَأَ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّفَّارُ، ثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، ثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَنْبَأَ الثَّوْرِيُّ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ فَيَّاضٍ، عَنْ تَمِيمِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَ:
لَمَّا قَدِمَ عُمَرُ ؓ الشَّامَ اسْتَقْبَلَهُ أَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ بْنُ الْجَرَّاحِ ؓ فَقَبَّلَ يَدَهُ، ثُمَّ خَلَوْا يَبْكِيَانِ، قَالَ: فَكَانَ يَقُولُ تَمِيمٌ: تَقْبِيلُ الْيَدِ سُنَّةٌ
