( أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ فُورَكَ، أَنْبَأَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، ثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ، ثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، ثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ ذَكْوَانًا يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ مَوْلًى لِعَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ:
أَنَّهُ أَرْسَلَهُ إِلَى عَلِيٍّ ؓ يَسْتَأْذِنُهُ عَلَى أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ عُمَيْسٍ، فَأَذِنَ لَهُ، حَتَّى إِذَا فَرَغَ مِنْ حَاجَتِهِ سَأَلَ الْمَوْلَى عَمْرًا عَنْ ذَلِكَ، فَقَالَ: إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَهَانَا - أَوْ نَهَى - أَنْ نَدْخُلَ عَلَى النِّسَاءِ بِغَيْرِ إِذْنِ أَزْوَاجِهِنَّ

أسنده شعبة بسنده ل عمرو بن العاص وهو الصحيح وكذلك رواه الأعمش عن أبي صالح عن عمرو بن العاص ولم يذكر بينهما مولاه والحديث حديث شعبة
machine translationShuʿbah transmitted it with a connected chain (musnad) to ʿAmr b. al-ʿĀṣ, and this is the sound (ṣaḥīḥ) version. Likewise al-Aʿmash narrated it from Abū Ṣāliḥ from ʿAmr b. al-ʿĀṣ, and he did not mention his freed slave (mawlā) between them. The hadith is the hadith of Shuʿbah.
