( وَأَخْبَرَنَاهُ ) أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ قَالَا: ثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ، ثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ مُجَمِّعٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ:

مَشَيْتُ أَنَا وَفُلَانٌ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقُلْنَا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، أَعْطَيْتَ بَنِي الْمُطَّلِبِ وَتَرَكْتَنَا، وَإِنَّمَا نَحْنُ وَهُمْ إِلَيْكَ بِمَنْزِلٍ وَاحِدٍ فَقَالَ ﷺ: إِنَّمَا بَنُو هَاشِمٍ وَبَنُو الْمُطَّلِبِ شَيْءٌ وَاحِدٌ.
