( أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو، أَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، ثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْحُلْوَانِيُّ، ثَنَا عَارِمٌ، ثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ الْمَاجِشُونِ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ شِهَابٍ يَقُولُ:

لَوْ هَلَكَ عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عَفَّانَ، وَزَيْدُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ ؓ فِي بَعْضِ الزَّمَانِ، لَهَلَكَ عِلْمُ الْفَرَائِضِ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ، جَاءَ عَلَى النَّاسِ زَمَانٌ وَمَا يُحْسِنُهُ غَيْرُهُمَا
