( وَأَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ، أَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، ثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ، ثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ، ثَنَا كَثِيرُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، ثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ بُرْقَانَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ الزُّهْرِيَّ، يَقُولُ:
لَوْلَا أَنَّ زَيْدَ بْنَ ثَابِتٍ كَتَبَ الْفَرَائِضَ لَرَأَيْتُ أَنَّهَا سَتَذْهَبُ مِنَ النَّاسِ
