أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْقَطَّانُ بِبَغْدَادَ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو سَهْلِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ الْقَطَّانُ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رُمْحٍ، ثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أَنْبَأَ يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ ثَابِتِ بْنِ الضَّحَّاكِ:
أَنَّهُ وَجَدَ بَعِيرًا فَأَتَى بِهِ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ فَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يُعَرِّفَهُ، ثُمَّ رَجَعَ إِلَى عُمَرَ، فَقَالَ: إِنَّهُ قَدْ شَغَلَنِي عَنْ عَمَلِي، فَقَالَ لَهُ: اذْهَبْ فَأَرْسِلْهُ مِنْ حَيْثُ أَخَذْتَهُ
