وَأَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الْمِهْرَجَانِيُّ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ثَنَا ابْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، ثَنَا مَالِكٌ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ شِهَابٍ، يَقُولُ:

كَانَتْ ضَوَالُّ الْإِبِلِ فِي زَمَانِ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ إِبِلًا مُؤَبَّلَةً، تَنَاتَجُ لَا يَمَسُّهَا، حَتَّى إِذَا كَانَ زَمَانُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ ؓ أَمَرَ بِمَعْرِفَتِهَا وَتَعْرِيفِهَا، ثُمَّ تُبَاعُ فَإِذَا جَاءَ صَاحِبُهَا أُعْطِيَ ثَمَنَهَا
